I should add one of the bigger differences is that the APD long term for PTQQS is about 0.69, and SuperBands best backtests put it only at 0.345. These all take time to build up though, since they're at temporary lows, even though I don't think I'm coming back to Superbands.

Historical database biases are a big problem with Wealthlab and one of the reasons I don't use the website. One historical bias that is difficult to overcome is survivorship bias. When you define a universe of stocks it is static over time. So what you pick as your stock universe today may not have been the same one 5 years ago.
It's not any big problem as their WL100 that they use hasn't changed in the last seven years to the best of my knowledge. What you're saying is not a problem if your stocks don't ever collapse. Stopping using the site probably hurt your development skills.
And how are stock splits handled? For example, if a stock splits and the back data is reprocessed then all of a sudden the volume prior to the split increases (2x if the split was 2:1). Stocks that wouldn't have been bought at the time are now purchased in the backtest because they meet some minimum volume filter.
Splits are adjusted to be an unadjusted split series, and this problem was overcome years ago with the introduction of fundamental data, so I see when you quit was before this feature was rolled out.
If memory serves me correct you "borrowed" a system from someone else at Wealthlab and made minor mod's? Is this one of the 25 all time greatest systems on earth?
That was the Market Order System written by James Altucher from the Book Trade like a hedge fund, and, incidentally, he's one of my friends on facebook. I did borrow that idea from him, and improved on it significantly.
How does the pairs system relate to the two systems that are on the W.L. all time greats?
PTQQS has far greater risk adjusted returns than the SuperBands systems or that Market order gap script borrowed from James. It has both higher returns in terms of APR and sharpe and lower drawdowns.
Good questions, Steve.

Matthew,
Can you direct him to where he can download the needed information?
David,
I've sent you my email if you want to ask me any questions directly.
Thanks,

It is very easy to fool oneself if such issues are not addressed correctly in the historical database.

What is a trading system?
A "trading system" is a set of rules or computer algorithms which decide when to buy or sell, and what to buy or sell.
Trading systems (sometimes called "black boxes") replace emotion and instinct in trading. Many hedge funds use trading systems to guide
their trading.
Trading systems are typically generated by complex computer software (but not always). Each is organized around a general set of principles:

Now, thanks to Collective2, you can apply trading systems to your own brokerage account. We scour the world looking for the world's best trading systems
(and hopefully weeding out the world's worst!) We believe that a good trading system is equally-likely to be discovered by a Ph.D. in Bangalore as by a
day-trader in Boston.
Collective2 lets you act like a hedge fund manager. You can pick and choose various strategies to apply to your own brokerage account, and determine what
percentage of your account to use for each strategy. If a trading system doesn't work as expected, you can discard it and find another.
